HP OmniBook X Flip 16 (2025) Repair
If your HP OmniBook X Flip 16 (2025) has a broken screen, will not charge, runs hot or will not start, we can diagnose and repair it at our Bermondsey workshop. It is a 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop from 2025. Both the drive and, on most configurations, the memory can be upgraded, which makes it a good candidate for a refresh.

Notes from the workshop
- Memory is soldered on many OmniBook models, so we check the exact configuration before quoting an upgrade.
- These are recent machines, and many are still inside the manufacturer's warranty. Check that first, as a warranty repair costs you nothing.
- OmniBook replaced the Pavilion, Envy and Spectre names from 2024. The product number on the base label identifies the exact machine.
Data recovery from the HP OmniBook X Flip 16
The SSD in the HP OmniBook X Flip 16 can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
Estimate the cost with our data recovery calculator, or read about recovering files after a ransomware attack.

Questions
Can the SSD or memory in the HP OmniBook X Flip 16 be upgraded?
The SSD can be replaced with a larger M.2 drive. Memory depends on the configuration, which we check from the serial number.
My HP OmniBook X Flip 16 will not turn on. Is my data lost?
Usually not. The drive is separate from the fault in most cases, and we can remove it and copy your files even if the machine itself is not worth repairing.
How much does a HP OmniBook X Flip 16 screen replacement cost?
Price confirmed before work starts. The exact figure depends on the part your machine needs, and we confirm it before any work starts.
Is my HP OmniBook X Flip 16 still under warranty?
It may be. Machines from 2025 are often still inside the manufacturer's warranty, which covers faults but not accidental damage such as a cracked screen or a spill. Check that first; we repair what the warranty does not cover.
