Lenovo IdeaPad 530S-14ARR repairs and upgrades
Screen replacement
Cracked, flickering or lined 14-inch screens are replaced with a matching panel. Where the picture comes and goes as the lid moves, we check the display cable and hinges first.

Battery replacement
A new internal battery is fitted and tested through a full charge and discharge. At this age, short runtime and sudden shutdowns usually point to a worn battery and not a board fault.

Charging port and power repair
Depending on the configuration this charges through a round socket, USB-C or both. We test the adapter, the port and the charging circuit to find which has failed.
SSD and storage upgrade
The Lenovo IdeaPad 530S-14ARR takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Whether memory can be upgraded on the Lenovo IdeaPad 530S-14ARR depends on the exact configuration. We check against the serial number before quoting.
Windows repair and reinstall
The Lenovo IdeaPad 530S-14ARR meets Microsoft's Windows 11 requirements in most configurations. We upgrade from Windows 10, which reached end of support in October 2025, or reinstall Windows 11 cleanly with your files kept.
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the Lenovo IdeaPad 530S-14ARR, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
Known issues with the IdeaPad range
- Hinge mounts on IdeaPad and Flex models can break away from the lid or base, especially on thinner chassis.
- Lenovo's model codes, such as 15ITL6 or 14ALC05, identify the exact generation and processor family, which is what we match parts to.
- Many IdeaPads have some memory soldered and one slot free; some have none free.
