Memory
Memory in the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IAU7 is soldered and cannot be upgraded. It is worth knowing this before paying anyone for a memory upgrade.
Windows repair and reinstall
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IAU7 shipped with Windows 11. We repair start-up faults, reinstall Windows cleanly with your files kept, and remove malware.
Battery replacement
The battery is internal and held by screws. We fit a new one, then calibrate and test it under load. On a 2022 machine a worn battery is the likely cause of short runtime, and we measure its capacity before recommending anything else.

Charging port and power repair
We replace worn charging sockets and repair USB-C ports and charging circuits at component level. The adapter is tested first, because it is the cheapest thing to be wrong.
SSD and storage upgrade
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IAU7 takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IAU7, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
What we see on the bench
- Memory is soldered on most Yoga and Yoga Slim models.
- The touchscreen is a bonded assembly and is replaced as one part.
- Yoga 360-degree hinges loosen or seize over time, and a stiff hinge can crack the display glass.
Data recovery from the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IAU7
The SSD in the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14IAU7 can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
