The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 15IMH05 takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Memory
Memory in the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 15IMH05 is soldered and cannot be upgraded. It is worth knowing this before paying anyone for a memory upgrade.
Windows repair and reinstall
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 15IMH05 meets Microsoft's Windows 11 requirements in most configurations. We upgrade from Windows 10, which reached end of support in October 2025, or reinstall Windows 11 cleanly with your files kept.
Battery replacement
A new internal battery is fitted and tested through a full charge and discharge. On a 2020 machine a worn battery is the likely cause of short runtime, and we measure its capacity before recommending anything else.

Known issues with the Yoga range

- Yoga 360-degree hinges loosen or seize over time, and a stiff hinge can crack the display glass.
- Memory is soldered on most Yoga and Yoga Slim models.
