What we repair on the ASUS Chromebook CX1400
Screen replacement
A broken 14-inch screen is replaced with a panel of the same resolution and finish. We check the display cable while the lid is open.
Price confirmed before work starts
ChromeOS recovery
We restore ChromeOS from a recovery image when the device shows a missing or damaged system message, and check its automatic update end date for you.
Battery replacement
We replace the internal battery and check the charging circuit and adapter at the same time. At this age, short runtime and sudden shutdowns usually point to a worn battery and not a board fault.

Charging port and power repair
We replace worn charging sockets and repair USB-C ports and charging circuits at component level. The adapter is tested first, because it is the cheapest thing to be wrong.

Memory
Memory in the ASUS Chromebook CX1400 is soldered and cannot be upgraded. It is worth knowing this before paying anyone for a memory upgrade.
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, hinge and casing repair on the ASUS Chromebook CX1400, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults and data transfer to a new machine.
