HP EliteBook 650 G10 Repair
If your HP EliteBook 650 G10 has a broken screen, will not charge, runs hot or will not start, we can diagnose and repair it at our Bermondsey workshop. The HP EliteBook 650 G10 is a 2023 laptop with a 15.6-inch screen. Both the drive and, on most configurations, the memory can be upgraded, which makes it a good candidate for a refresh.

Charging port and power repair
Depending on the configuration this charges through a round socket, USB-C or both. We test the adapter, the port and the charging circuit to find which has failed.
SSD and storage upgrade
The HP EliteBook 650 G10 takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Memory upgrade
Most configurations of the HP EliteBook 650 G10 have SODIMM memory slots, so memory can be increased. We check what is fitted and the maximum the board supports.
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the HP EliteBook 650 G10, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
What we see on the bench
- EliteBooks are designed for servicing, with accessible batteries, SSDs and memory on most 800-series models.
- HP's BIOS protection is strict. A forgotten BIOS administrator password usually needs board-level work, and we ask for proof of ownership.
- USB-C charging and docking faults are common board repairs on recent generations.
Data recovery from the HP EliteBook 650 G10
The SSD in the HP EliteBook 650 G10 can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
Estimate the cost with our data recovery calculator, or read about recovering files after a ransomware attack.
