Known issues with the OmniBook range
- These are recent machines, and many are still inside the manufacturer's warranty. Check that first, as a warranty repair costs you nothing.
- OmniBook replaced the Pavilion, Envy and Spectre names from 2024. The product number on the base label identifies the exact machine.
- Memory is soldered on many OmniBook models, so we check the exact configuration before quoting an upgrade.
Data recovery from the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14
The SSD in the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
