HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh Repair
We repair the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh at our workshop in Bermondsey, from cracked screens and worn batteries to board faults and data recovery. The HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh is a 2022 laptop with a 14-inch screen. Both the drive and, on most configurations, the memory can be upgraded, which makes it a good candidate for a refresh.

Repairs we carry out on the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh
Screen replacement
Cracked, flickering or lined 14-inch screens are replaced with a matching panel. Where the picture comes and goes as the lid moves, we check the display cable and hinges first.

SSD and storage upgrade
The HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh takes an M.2 SSD. We clone the existing drive to a larger one so Windows, programs and files carry over unchanged.

Memory upgrade
Most configurations of the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh have SODIMM memory slots, so memory can be increased. We check what is fitted and the maximum the board supports.
Windows repair and reinstall
The HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh shipped with Windows 11. We repair start-up faults, reinstall Windows cleanly with your files kept, and remove malware.
Battery replacement
The battery is internal and held by screws. We fit a new one, then calibrate and test it under load. A battery of this age that swells should be replaced before it damages the trackpad or casing.

Charging port and power repair
We replace worn charging sockets and repair USB-C ports and charging circuits at component level. The adapter is tested first, because it is the cheapest thing to be wrong.
We also carry out keyboard and trackpad repair, motherboard repair, liquid damage repair, overheating and fan repair, hinge and casing repair, virus removal on the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh, along with USB, HDMI and audio port repair, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card replacement, webcam and speaker faults, BIOS password removal with proof of ownership and data transfer to a new machine.
Known issues with the Pavilion range
- HP product names such as 15-eg or 14-dv cover many sub-models, so we confirm parts against the full product number on the base.
- Hinge failure is the Pavilion repair we see most. The hinge stiffens, then pulls its mounts out of the lid or base.
- Older configurations with a mechanical hard drive are transformed by an SSD.
Data recovery from the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh
The SSD in the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh can be removed and imaged on our own equipment, so files can usually be recovered even when the machine will not start. Recent Windows machines often have device encryption or BitLocker switched on. If so we will need the recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.

Questions
Can the SSD or memory in the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh be upgraded?
The SSD can be replaced with a larger M.2 drive. Memory is in slots on most configurations and can be increased.
My HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh will not turn on. Is my data lost?
Usually not. The drive is separate from the fault in most cases, and we can remove it and copy your files even if the machine itself is not worth repairing.
Can the HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh run Windows 11?
Yes. It shipped with Windows 11.
How do I get my HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh to you?
Bring it to our workshop at Unit 1 The Willows, 80 Willow Walk, London SE1 5SY, or call 020 7237 6805 to ask about courier collection. We confirm the price before any work starts.
